 El mensaje bíblico para el día de hoy

Marta, por su parte, se sentía abrumada porque tenía mucho que hacer. Así que se acercó a él y le dijo:

—Señor, ¿no te importa que mi hermana me haya dejado sirviendo sola? ¡Dile que me ayude!

—Marta, Marta —le contestó Jesús—, estás inquieta y preocupada por muchas cosas, pero sólo una es necesaria. María ha escogido la mejor, y nadie se la quitará.

Lucas 10: 40-41-42 NVI

Vivimos en un mundo tan rápido, que por lo

 regular tendemos a pensar como Marta, siempre preocupados. Necesitamos seguir el ejemplo de Maria, y fijar nuestra Mirada en Jesucristo; y no en las presiones de este mundo.

 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Luke 10: 38-42 NIV

We live in a very stressful world, constantly worrying about everything. Instead, we need to fix our eyes on Jesus Christ, not on the pressures of this world.
